Common Questions

We answer your most important Questions here:

What is a Solar PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)?
A Solar PPA is a financial agreement where we install a solar system on your home at no upfront cost. You simply pay for the solar energy you use—at a lower rate than your current utility. Know more here.
Do I have to pay anything upfront?
No. With our Solar PPA model, installation and equipment costs are covered. You only pay for the solar electricity your system produces—usually at a significantly reduced rate.
Who owns the solar panels?
The solar panels are owned and maintained by us. You get all the benefits of solar—like lower electricity bills—without the responsibility of ownership, maintenance, or repairs.
How much can I expect to save on my energy bills?
Savings vary depending on your energy usage and location, but many homeowners save 20–30% or more compared to their traditional utility rates.
Will the solar system increase my property taxes?
No. Since you’re not purchasing the system, it won’t be considered a taxable improvement. Plus, in many areas, solar installations are exempt from property tax increases even if you owned it.
What happens if I sell my home?
If you move, the Solar PPA can be transferred to the new homeowner. We make the process simple and seamless for both parties.
Is maintenance included?
Yes. We monitor, maintain, and repair the solar system at no cost to you for the life of the agreement. You don’t have to lift a finger.

How long is the PPA contract?
Most Solar PPAs are 20 to 25 years, depending on your location and energy plan. We’ll go over all the details with you during your consultation.

What if my panels produce more electricity than I use?
If your system generates more power than your home needs, the excess energy may be sent back to the grid, and in many areas, you could receive credits from your utility company through net metering.
